<h3>Take a vacation from hotels</h3>
<p>One of the more interesting projects Nick has worked on in the last few months was HomeAway, a vacation rental site. Nick and the team took the angle of knocking bad hotels and used the Griswold’s to help them in their efforts</p>
<p>Featured is an online mini-movie which ran on the site. A cut down of this film ran as the Super Bowl spot.</p>
<p>The campaign has been an unqualified success with thousands upon thousands of new visitors coming to the site.

<div id="copy-container" class="copy-container">The relationship with Chevy was short lived, as anyone who reads the advertising trade papers will know. However it existed long enough to produce this appropriately futuristic piece for the Volt.Originally presented at E3, this was to be an interactive ad on the Xbox 360 using the Kinect Motion Controller.</p>
<p>The user watches the ad on Xbox Live, and at any point can interact with the commercial using body gestures. In this case the user grabs the car, pulls it into a virtual garage, looks at the car specs, changes the color of the car, and then places the car back into the commercial where it plays the rest of itself out.<br />
This the 30 second commercial version of the idea.</p>

<p>You can see how the idea translates to an award-winning microsite.</p>
<p>Utilizing a chalkboard art style resembling a Starbucks® barista board, you’re led through an engaging 5-question taste-matching quiz. By the end, you’ll understand terms like acidity, body and roast, and know your perfect coffee. As you explore more coffees, you’ll hear the scratching of chalk as pages animate. And see chalk remnants from the previous design—just like a real board.</p>

<p><strong>What is a Video Egg?</strong></p>
<p>Well, it’s a video ad network for online communities. It invites users to engage with advertising content on their terms, rather than just being spoon-fed it.  Nick and his team designed ads for the hip Motorola Rizr phone to run on the network, using a show about everyday Williamsburg hipsters ‘The Burg’ as a vehicle. Videos, otherwise known as hipster tips, would pop up on screen at various appropriate moments during the show. If the user clicked on them, the ‘Hipster tip’ would run.

<p><strong>&#8230;.not as boring as it sounds.</strong></p>
<p>Knowledge and entertainment aren’t mutually exclusive. At least that’s what  Nick hoped to show on the award-winning, global website for the Motorola Q9h.  Through a series of interactive videos Nick and the team demonstrated just how easy  the Smartphone’s features were to use and how handy they could be in  users’ daily lives. Whether that person was a working mom, a surgeon, or a  hip hop artist.

<p><strong>Get out of your head</strong></p>
<p>The trouble with your average MP3 player is that it tends to trap you in your own little world. Not so with the Samsung K5. It has built in speakers that allow you to flip it open and share your music with the universe. Or just your mates.<br />
This microsite demonstrates this through a cool interactive game called Bubble Breakers, as well as a viral film, which was so liked by the client they ran it as a TV spot<br />
It’s good example of bringing brand thinking to the interactive medium.

<h3>HSBC in NYC</h3>
<p>This is one of the most high profile projects Nick has worked on. The task was to introduce HSBC bank to New Yorkers through a poster and print campaign. The angle? Nick and the team decided to show that New York was the perfect city for the self-styled ‘World’s Local Bank’ because it had just about every nationality in the world within its five boroughs. There were as many as twenty executions in the campaign including digital posters in Times Square, here are just a small selection.</p>

<h3>Trouser less in Soho</h3>
<p>This is a poster campaign that aims to reflect the quirky personality of the New York-based custom clothing store, Lord Willy. The store has already featured in GQ, New York, and The Financial Times. Nick’s job was not just to think of the images …but also to shoot them. It went so well that trendy magazine Zink used one of the shots in an article on the modern dandy in their April issue.    Interestingly the site of a man without pants wandering through Soho and Central park didn’t cause a stir. Even the NYPD let us get on with it, when they discovered it was for a shoot….</p>
